Welcome to the February 14th edition of The Homeschool Mother’s Journal at NextGen Homeschool! Happy Valentine’s Day! Join us by linking up your blog posts below and reading what other homeschooling mamas just like you are sharing this week.
What is The Homeschool Mother’s Journal? HMJ is a weekly (Saturday) blog link-up providing a place for homeschool mothers to share our hearts as we journey together. NextGen Homeschool is joining the following blogs to co-host the Homeschool Mother’s Journal Link-up: So You Call Yourself a Homeschooler?, Contented at Home, The Heart of Michelle, Abundant Life and Vibrant Homeschooling.
We are so thankful for each one of you stopping by! If you haven’t already, we’d love for you to like us on our Facebook page as we grow our community over there. We’d love to connect with you there as we will soon begin to share many of the wonderful posts linked up each week.
This week NextGen Homeschool Author Rosanna Ward gives us a glimpse inside a typical homeschooling day for her family. She is currently homeschooling her 9-year-old and 4-year-old sons, and homeschooling flows all around the house and out the door on many days! Here’s her account of one of those days.
This week we want to highlight the following posts from last week’s link-up:
- Patience and Homeschooling: The Big Misconception at Life’s Hidden Treasures. This is such a hot topic: I think we’ve all lost count of how many times people have told us how patient we must be to homeschool. A must read!
- Tips for Homeschooling Upper Elementary Kids… Without Pulling Your Hair Out! at Big Family Blessings. I could totally relate to Amanda: I was in her shoes not so long ago!
- You Might be a Homeschooler If… at Shield of Faith Homeschool. This one made me laugh and appreciate homeschooling at the same time, and I really needed both when I read it! We hope it puts a smile on your face. 🙂
We encourage you to take the time to check out these inspiring posts! Now on to this week’s link-up…
