Welcome to the October 17th edition of The Homeschool Mother’s Journal at NextGen Homeschool!
At this time of year, one of our family’s most anticipated hands-on homeschooling experiences is a fall foliage hike. Living next to the scenic mountains of Colorado and watching the Aspen groves turn into blankets of pure gold keep us coming back for more each year. It’s our way of celebrating this beautiful botanical transition and appreciating God’s handiwork in the delicate details of the Autumn season. Learn more about how to plan an inspired fall foliage hike with a hands-on homeschool twist this month.
What are some of your favorite fall activities and traditions in your homeschool? What inspires you to adventure outside with your homeschooling during the fall season?
We’d also like to invite you to visit the Third Annual “31 Days to a Better Marriage” Series that NextGen Homeschool is participating in this fall. This year’s series features 30 different Christian bloggers, including an author from NextGen Homeschool, sharing their heart and encouraging people to commit to having a better marriage. The series runs from October 1-31. Here are just a few examples of the topics you’ll see covered during this series:
- How God can redeem an unequally-yoked marriage
- Nurturing your marriage during financial hardships
- The art of forgiving
- How prayer and fasting can bless your marriage
- Words that can build up a marriage
- Protecting the intimacy of your partnership in a social media world
- … and much more!
This year many generous authors are also pitching in to give you the ULTIMATE Christian Marriage Package: Be sure to enter here for your chance to win this prize package valued at $155+! While most of the content will be marriage building material, you will also receive some other blessings to help make your marriage thrive.
